Sick leave

It’s funny how being freelancer changes your attitude towards work. Radically.

  • the workweek is not defined by mon-fri, but by the work that’s at hand.
  • holiday is extra-precious, because you know, to the euro, how much it costs you
  • and getting sick is not done. anything that will help not to get sick will ruthlessly be exploited. Vitamins, paracetamol, witchcraft, whatever works.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t always work. So you try to quarantine downtime to say, saturday and sunday, or periods that are unemployed anyhow. Crossing fingers.
