I went to a belgian blogger‘s meet yesterday, initiated by Vinch.
The main point of these meets is to meet other bloggers face-to-face. After having read their productions, it’s really interesting to see their face and general demeanor. Arguably, you can’t really be friends before things click IRL.
My main problem is that i hadn’t done my homework. I more or less spontaneously decided to go – next time i’ll dutifully browse all blogs, to connect site to name 
I’ll do better next time. My reader just got a whole lot of additional feeds.
Anyhow, it was good fun, and i regretted not to have booked the whole evening – the four hours i was there just flew.
Another regret is that once again, we get stuck on one side of the language barrier. Maybe that’s to be expected. But in my ideal world, the ideas, and not the language they are expressed in, are important.
